Innovation and passion are hallmarks of Nanda\Hobbs.
Nanda\Hobbs is a commercial art gallery in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Established in 2003 by
Raj Nanda and Ralph Hobbs, our gallery traded under the name Art Equity until mid 2015.
Nanda\Hobbs is passionate about art, supporting artists and building collections of the best contemporary art. Our represented artists are some of the most talented in Australia and abroad. We have a diverse exhibition program in both our Sydney gallery and in Singapore and we also participate at international art fairs.
Education is a central tenet of what we do at Nanda\Hobbs. We want you to make informed decisions. Institutional gallery tours, lectures, collecting and investing seminars, artist talks and studio visits are all part of the journey we provide our clients.
Nanda\Hobbs services include portfolio management, fine art valuations, income-generating investment structures and art rental services. In line with the duration and extent of our art market activity, we are able to access exceptional artworks from blue-chip collections, which we provide for sale by private treaty.
In 2012 we consolidated our reach into the northern hemisphere art markets, opening offices in London and Singapore. This focused expansion has proved beneficial to not only our client base but also our artists, enabling a forum and a meeting point for global exchange of ideas and works.
The Nanda\Hobbs team is highly qualified and dedicated to providing you with a positive experience on your art-collecting journey. Their combined experience comprises art curation, gallery management, education, art valuation and portfolio advice.
