Collector Adam Lindemann sold a Jean-Michel Basquiat at Christie’s on 10 May for $57.3 million - a record for the artist. Twenty-four hours after he found himself in the role of bidder as selling began for a 1942 Calder at Sotheby’s. Gippsland Art Gallery exhibition features Giles Alexander
