Nicholas Blowers has been selected as a finalist for the 2016 Glover Prize—one of Australia's most significant awards for landscape painting. The $40,000 annual prize is awarded to the work judged the best contemporary landscape painting of Tasmania.
The 2016 Glover Prize judges are Maudie Palmer AO, Independent curator and Professorial Fellow, Monash University, Fiona Hall AO, Artist and Australian representative at Venice Biennale 2015 and Sean Kelly, Arts Officer, Moonah Arts Centre.
The winner will be announced on Friday, 11 March.
