How does a myth perpetuate itself in a time of mass media. Here four cans celebrate Monroe, a woman who has become myth - garish posters adorn the up-right cans. Over-saturated pastiches of the person at the heart of the myth. The only can with any semblance of a reflection of the authentic Marilyn has fallen. That version was depicted on screen and in print in black and white and so is the black and white version of the can. She has become only an inane imitation of her own mythos.
