Join Caroline Zilinsky, Ariela Bard and Sebastian Goldspink in the gallery for the official Artist Talk and Book Launch on Saturday 16 May from 2 – 3pm.
"Psychotic Verities" is a new publication surveying Zilinsky’s distinctive practice. Bringing together selected works alongside texts by Lawrence Aligheri, Nicole Hauser, Ariela Bard, Ralph Hobbs, Claudia Hunt, Riley Curtain, and Briony Downes, the publication offers a considered account of the ideas and images that underpin her work.
Zilinsky will be in conversation with arts writer Ariela Bard, moderated by independent curator Sebastian Goldspink. The trio will discuss her unique practice and perspective on the realms of labour and contemporary consumption.
From automated systems to the quieter psychological atmospheres that underpin the exhibition, this conversation presents a wonderful opportunity to get directly to heart of MANUFACTURED CONSENT.
