Dr Prudence Gibson explores Floria Tosca’s recent exhibition My Littoral Zone at Nanda\Hobbs - highlighting how the artist transforms a psychoanalytic consultation room into a modern Wunderkammer. Gibson examines Tosca’s intricate interplay of memory, imagination, and introspection, revealing a space where beauty, decay, and self-discovery converge.
What Tosca shows us is that when we are able to glimpse our unconscious through a flimsy and delicate membrane of glass, it is possible to better understand feelings of anger and denial.
