Artist's CV

There is an ethereal sensitivity to the treatment of the brooding clouds that surround rock formations, rendered in heightened colour.

Jason Cordero is an artist who draws on the natural world—contemporising the sublime with intense colour and precise draftsmanship. His highly evocative landscapes speak of the solitariness than one feels in the wilderness. There is an ethereal sensitivity to the treatment of the brooding clouds that surround rock formations, rendered in heightened colour.

Cordero has an extensive exhibiting CV and has been a regular finalist in many significant art prizes, including multiple times in the Glover Prize.
