Artsy headlines Adam Chang in article about Chinese symbolism, alongside works by Ai Weiwei and Chen Wenling

Artsy, one of the worlds largest digital art platforms has featured Adam Chang's painting Chinese Zodiac- Pig Head as its headline artwork in its article Unpacking the Symbolism of Pigs in Chinese Art.

"2019 is the Year of the Pig, bringing with it extra reason to celebrate: Among the 12 animals represented in the Chinese zodiac, the pig—the last in the cycle—promises wealth and good fortune."

Other images illustrated in the article included sculptures by Ai Weiwei  and Chen Wenling and images of works from the Zhou dynasty (ca. 1045–256 B.C.E.) and Qing Dynasty.

Chang's Chinese Zodiac- Pig Head, 2016, Oil on linen, 160x140cm was exhibited in a solo exhibition titled Ancient Reverie at Nanda\Hobbs in 2016.
