Available work by 2015 Archibald Prize winner Nigel Milsom

23 November 2015

We have just consigned two recent paintings by Nigel Milsom to our Private Treaty page.

Milsom's portrait of barrister Charles Waterstreet was the 2015 Archibald Prize winner. The artist was inspired to paint Waterstreet's portrait after the prominent barrister represented him on an armed-robbery charge. Milsom was also winner of the 2013 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the 2012 Sulman Prize.

Milsom has exhibited in numerous solo exhibitions in recent years as well as group exhibitions at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest, Sydney, and the Campbelltown Arts Centre. The Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, also holds his work.
