LOTTIE CONSALVO: WINNER OF THE 2025 MUSWELLBROOK ART PRIZE

31 March 2025

Lottie Consalvo has been announced winner of the $50,000 painting prize at the 2025 Muswellbrook Art Prize for her work Dusk, 2024. Judged by Anne Ryan, curator of Australian Art at the Art Gallery of NSW, prizes were also awarded to Charmaine Pike ($10,000 Works on Paper Prize) and Mechelle Bounpraseuth ($10,000 Ceramics Prize).

Established in 1956, the The Muswellbrook Art Prize is one of the most prestigious prizes for painting in regional Australia. Astute judging of the prize has over decades produced an exceptional collection of modern and contemporary paintings, works on paper and ceramics that form the nucelus of the Muswellbrook Shire Art Collections. Previous winners have included luminaries such as Fred Williams, Richard Larter, Sydney Ball and David Aspden.

The exhibition of the 2025 Muswellbrook Art Prize runs until 24 May 2025.
