Louis Pratt | The Space Between Us

22 June 2020

Louis Pratt’s renowned innovation in sculpture delves deep into the nature of human physicality in this series of four interrelated bronze dancers. He points to the beauty and complexity that exists in a world that is challenging the nature of our relationships with one another.

"These works aim to figuratively represent the spaces between people and what happens when we collapse the barriers of time and space that divide us." Louis Pratt

Cast in solid bronze, the interplay and morphing of the human form is both sensual, yet, powerfully dynamic. The four bronzes are a passionate entanglement of the history of the human form—and the future of the human form in a virtual world.
