Lives and works in Sydney
Marie Mansfield is one of Australia’s foremost painters. From portraiture to landscape, her ability to render the essence of place or the personality of a sitter is profound.
The paintings in this exhibition are Mansfield’s response to an arts residency in the Wollemi National Park in the Upper Hunter Valley in early 2022, and have since been exhibited at the Musswellbrook Regional Art Centre and Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre.
Now an online exhibition with Nanda\Hobbs, these exquisite works not only capture the landscape she traversed, but the beauty in moments less grand.
