Major New Work by Kathrin Longhurst Purchased by The Bennett Art Collection, USA

The major work in Kathrin Longhurst's upcoming exhibition titled Protagonist has been purchased by The Bennett Art Collection in Texas, USA.  The Collection is planning to include Longhurst's painting Ode to Feminism in a major public exhibition they are curating in Chicago (opening in May 2019 titled). Secondary Meanings: Figural Diptychs will show multi-panel works (diptychs, triptychs and polytychs) featuring related human figures. The Bennett Collection, which also includes a work by Dianne Gall, focuses on figurative realist paintings of women by women artists.

Protagonist opens at Nanda\Hobbs on Thursday 14 June, 6-8pm. An Artist Talk with Kathrin and Ralph Hobbs will be held in the gallery on Saturday 16 June, 2-3 pm.
