SUMMER COLLECTION

Group Exhibition

18 January — 4 February 2023

Nanda\Hobbs is pleased to present our summer collection exhibition. Bringing together over seventy works in a variety of media, this show highlights Australia’s most iconic artists of the 20th century and beyond.

Sourced from vendors, private collections and salesrooms, the works exhibited provide a snapshot of the trailblazing methodologies, styles and practices of the Australian blue-chip market.

This diverse collection not only celebrates the canon as a whole, but investigates the individual aesthetic merit of its pioneering artists: from Fred Williams to Brett Whiteley. For the viewer, the exhibition offers works for a variety of interests, budgets and aesthetics.

This is an exhibition that allows one to delve into the art market, to understand what makes it tick. It gives insight to the significant moments which have shaped the direction of Australian art history and continue to define our cultural landscape.

EXHIBITION TALK + TOUR
